Snapshots of my Heart

thats me right there. lol well...i dont know how i feel about the 'princess' part...but the running part? yup. story.of.my.life. i guess i just got sick of being run out on..so i started beating people to it.

it never feels like it. what i MAY get, in return for putting my heart out there, isnt worth it.
mostly bc it never comes to be. i risk it all and i LOSE it all. i dont gain anything but heartache and tears.
"I want to run, but only far enough to make you miss me." I keep running, just hoping that someone, once, will miss me. and will miss me enough to chase after me. seems i dont matter to most everyone. thats a hard thought to swallow.
but today is thanksgiving, so i have one thing to say.
I am so thankful for the people, though few, who have stuck by me through everything and would miss me if i wasnt with them. and yah, theres not that many people that feel that way. but, as they say, quality over quantity. id rather have a few REAL friends than a bunch of fake friends.
i love you guys, you mean the world to me and i love that youve let me be a part of your world. you know who you are <3

so many memories, so many mistakes.. seventeen years' worth actually. and come december, it all washes back over me. the words are lyrics to a song im working on.
ive missed you guys. hopefully ill be back on here more regularly..
